Making Christ Truly Present to Those in Need By Performing Works of Mercy
Snack Bags
Each month Christ the King provides approximately 100 snack bags to hungry individuals who come to our doors. Please help us feed the hungry by making snack bags or donating non perishable, individual pull top cans of a main dish item (such as chili, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, beef stew or ravioli) and juice or milk box drinks for the snack bags. As little as $2 can alleviate hunger. You can also help by joining us on the last Monday of the month at 7pm to make the bags. Contact David or Robyn at snackbagctk@hotmail.com.
School Supply Drives
Back to school time can be a financial challenge for disadvantaged families. In August, CTK has a school supply drive to collect the basic supplies needed by disadvantaged families within our parish and the children living at MUST Ministries and My Sister's House shelters.
